neek's monday

day four without booze
  • slimfast strawberry milkshake
  • 3 cups of tea
  • 2 bananas
  • punnet of strawberries
  • 1 funsize mars, 1 funsize snicker
  • thai red turkey curry with rice noodles
  • ***3 litres of water throughout the day***
***60 sit-ups, 20 min stretching***
***30 min salsa practise***
i reckon that's about 15 gips.

Not bad Neek. I do worry about your veg intake though. Remember, half of each meal should be veg. The other half should be split protein and carbs.

A fun-size mars bar is ok - especially as you've ate next to nothing - but 2 in one day? ARE YOU MAD????

i eat plenty of veg nige, just it doesn't always get mentioned - last night, 250g of peas and carrots in my thai curry, plus some pineapple.
250g of spinach with my curry the other night.
hmm, i cook a lot of curries, but saves on washing up.
still, gonna be chicken soup tonight, with extra veg

Good, but watch the volume of peas and carrots. 3 tablespoons of peas is 2 GIPS, a large carrot is 1.5. Better sticking to tomatoes, onion and cabbage; all free.

can't stand tomatoes unless they're in things like bolly sauce, chilli, curry when i can't taste them.
cabbage - was put off that by schoool dinners
onion - ok
i like me peas, carrots, spinach, sprouts, broccoli, swede, sweet corn, sweet potatoes, mushrooms, runner beans my fav. how do they score?

runner beans (technically a protein): 1 teacup: [3.5]
