More Fat, Vicar?
After extensive reading, i have established my body is in famine mode and that my basal metabolic rate has slowed down because i am not eating enough fat. My body is not burning up excess calories; the answer: more fat, preferably good quality fat;) Anyway, yesterday's fat free intake:
  • slimfast strawberry milkshake
  • 2 cups of tea
  • 3 bananas
  • punnet of strawberries
  • 1 funsize mars, 1 funsize twix
  • chicken and vegetable soup with basmati rice. I threw in a turkey breast too, plus peas and carrots. Spinach on the side.
  • bowl of mint and choc ice cream with pineapple
***1000m swim***
***3 litres of water throughout the day***

i think u reading too much into this, my advice, cut down on da ice cream and mars bars, and you'll soon see the weight come off, never mind about "Basal Metabolic Rate will decrease, and your body will not want to burn off any excess calories in a hurry just in case you're not going to feed yourself for a while." bla bla...sheeesh! who's got Jack Straws number? I gotta give he a call

Lucozade at the end of the day is the reason you is putting on weight - almost as quick as you're losing it... My top tip: don't eat or do sugary drinks at the end of the day. If possible, do a work out last thing.

You're right about fat though - sort of. You need some because many vitamins are fat soluable and won't get round your body properly without it. But, there's no way you're not getting enough. One fun-size snickers would be enough for a week. Get real Neek; burn more calories than you eat. It's a simple equation, every time you consume more than, say 1500, burn that number off down the gym.
